Info-The car was one of the very
last Cooper “S” mini’s to have been manufactured, first
registered in Dec 1970 just before the end of their production. This car
has been completely professionally re-built by Rob Walker Eng. 1275 cc
engine over bored by + 0.04 with fully balanced engine including forged
pistons, 731 cam, HD Clutch, and Cooper “S” cylinder head
all original parts. The gearbox has been fully rebuilt using only syncro
parts.
The car was striped to the shell and completely professionally rebuilt,
with all round original seam welds, followed by a (2 pack) full professional
re spray in Cooper “S” island blue with a white roof. The
car is fitted with a full SD roll cage and the Cooper “s”
works pattern sump guard. Fuel and brake lines are inside the car, and
both of the fuel tanks are original.
The interior has been completely restored with a Cooper "S"
style steering wheel and dash, The paintwork inside is island blue, and
the seats are the original “S” style leather seats.Other features
include Original Cooper “S” minilite alloy wheels, with 165/70x10"
Good Year, Rally special tyres, Adjustable suspension all round, with
a new sub frame (dry) which were all professionally gusseted and seam
welded. Spotlights and stainless steel brackets are available for the
car with used nuts, bolts, and brackets.
The car has done only 800 miles since the full rebuild and 550 of these
were driven prior to a rolling road set up at Aldon Automotive.This Mini
is available for inspection by appointment and is in the UK. I will attempt
to answer any and all questions regarding the vehicle. If there is a particular
